Each city has numerous recreational and educational programs for youth and families. The programs are usually under the "parks and recreation" department. You will find youth sports, aquatics, and recreational classes on art, music, hiking, computers, and more. The cost is very reasonable if you live within the city limits. You can register your child in another city program, but you may have to wait for a later registration date and pay a little extra.
