Theme: “Stayin’ Alive” as a teen can mean different things. Our first year we focused on Safe Teen Driving. Last year our theme expanded to include suicide prevention, anorexia, and child abuse. This year we’ve opened it up to what you think “stayin’ alive” means. If you’re an athlete or into health fitness, then you may want to do a piece on exercise, being competitive, or nutrition. Maybe you’re a social butterfly and “stayin’ alive” means having the courage to be yourself, not giving into peer pressure, or dressing in your own style. If you’re into grades, then “stayin’ alive” in the academic world could be your theme. You could show “what not to do when preparing for finals”. Any questions, email Sierra at info@azkids2teens.com.

Awards: Directors for winning entries will receive a Director’s pass to the Phoenix Film Festival & all its movies & VIP engagements. You’ll get a chance to meet celebrity writers, directors, and performers. Did you know that Steven Spielberg was making films as a student at Arcadia High School in Phoenix? Arcadia HS Media Communications, under David Cornelius, continues to have one of the best media programs in the country.
