azkids2teens Football - Flag and Tackle

Welcome to Arizona youth football. This is the most comprehensive site on Arizona youth football in Maricopa County. If your son or daughter has shown an interest in American football, look over the different options around town. Yes, I did say, daughter! The best way to get your youngsters playing is to enroll them in a local flag football league. Check out the Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA, National Youth Sports, Arizona Pop Warner Football, City of Scottsdale after school program, and the NFL Youth Football Network. Some of these programs, such as Arizona Pop Warner, have a younger age limit. However, many other programs such as the NFL Youth program will take boys and girls through age 14.

Some of our top programs in the rough and tough world of Arizona youth tackle football include Arizona Pop Warner Football, National Youth Sports, and Arizona Competitive Youth Football League (ACYFL). Each league has its own set of rules and regulations. Arizona Pop Warner Football is a very competitive league and has very strict age and weight restrictions. If you happen to have a youngster who is heavier than the limits, you might want to check into ACYFL. If you are a parent and want to start your own league, check into the NFL Youth program.

Some fun competitions to consider entering are the Pepsi Punt, Pass, and Kick contest and the Grand Canyon State Games. The Pepsi Punt, Pass, and Kick contest is free and is an individual competition for boys and girls. The Grand Canyon State Games offers a 4- on- 4 flag team competition during the summer.
