DanceSport
Teens and children are catching the new wave of DanceSport. Like other sports, it is offered for both competititive and recreational athletes/dancers. It has been recognized as a sport by the International Olympic Committee and is being considered for Olympic medal status. DanceSport offers many physical benefits, is fun, challenging, and can improve one’s self confidence and social life.
Benefits for athletes/dancers & cross-training athletes (football, basketball, etc)

Competition Dances:
There are 10 dances that are broken into two categories, modern (standard) and Latin American. Modern dances include the Tango, Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot & Viennese Waltz. The Latin American dances include Cha Cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba & Paso Doble.
